Since 2020, Countdown has hosted annual meetings for members of the country collaborations and other African countries with Global Financing Facility (GFF) investment cases, in partnership with the GFF, the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the West African Health Organization. The workshops are part of an ongoing Countdown collaboration in each country and  aim to strengthen analytical capacity of teams of country public health institutions and ministries of health. In 2020 and 2021 the meetings were held virtually because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then, the meetings have taken place in person.

Below are details about each of the meetings.

2023

The 2023 annual meeting brought together more than 185 participants in Dakar, Senegal, to learn about and use analysis tools developed by the data & analysis centers.
