Since 2017 countdown to 2030 has organized nine virtual workshops and 17 in-person workshops with representatives from 65 countries. Footage was filmed during a workshop that took place in Nairobi in June 2022. Workshops participants interviewed for the video include Sonnia-Magba Bu-Buakei Jabbi from Sierra Leone, Shegaw Mulu Tarekegn from Ethiopia, Papa Ibrahima Ndour from Senegal, and Maame Esi  from Ghana.
