Advancing RMNCAH+N Outcomes in Zimbabwe

On September 23–24, the Countdown Zimbabwe country collaboration team shared the 2025 Country Annual Meeting results at Zimbabwe’s National Reproductive Health Technical Working Group, the country’s highest platform for reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition (RMNCAH+N) dialogue.

The results emphasized the integration of survey and health facility data to assess coverage and equity across districts and provinces. The team also showcased the Countdown to 2030 R Shiny App, an innovative, interactive tool developed to simplify and standardize the analysis of routine health facility data. It automates critical steps in the data cycle, including data loading, data quality assessment (DQA), analysis, and report generation.

This engagement marked a significant step forward in fostering meaningful dialogue with colleagues and stakeholders committed to improving RMNCAH+N outcomes.

For the Countdown to 2030 initiative, this is more than a presentation. It is the continuity of deeper collaboration, stronger accountability, and greater impact. The initiative remains committed to translating data into action and driving accountability for improved RMNCAH+N outcomes.
