Enhancing Evidence Use for Policy and Practice in Zimbabwe

At Countdown to 2030, we remain committed to strengthening evidence generation for advocacy and accountability in women’s, children’s, and adolescents’ health. From November 24 – 27, 2025, we are hosting a workshop for the Zimbabwe Country Collaboration team on communication, documentation, and knowledge translation in operational and implementation research.

The workshop aims to enhance participants’ ability to communicate research findings clearly to diverse audiences, develop policy-relevant knowledge products, and design dissemination strategies that help evidence drive policy and practice.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Communicate research findings to inform policy and program decisions;

  • Develop knowledge products that translate complex data into actionable insights; and

  • Design dissemination strategies that strengthen evidence uptake.

Participants will also gain hands-on experience in creating tailored messages, policy briefs, communication outputs, and stakeholder engagement plans, equipping them with practical skills to influence real-world decision-making.
