The report, which is titled “Tracking Progress in Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health and Nutrition,” (RMNCAH&N) will be published on April 10 on The Lancet website. It offers a comprehensive analysis of RMNCAH&N progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals, which are meant to be achieved by the year 2030. The report examines trends in survival, nutritional status, health systems, policies, financing, and inequalities, with a focus on low- and middle-income countries where the majority of maternal, child, and adolescent deaths occur. It also highlights the widening disparities in sub-Saharan Africa where systemic challenges continue to hinder progress.

Countdown has produced numerous global monitoring reports since 2005.
